We would recommend you carry out any works required to mitigate/minimise the damage sustained. Any items removed should be retained in the event a loss adjuster visit is required and photos should be taken prior to any emergency works taking place.

The full reinstatement works should not commence until you have received authorisation.

Quotes/Repair estimates

You will be asked to provide two estimates for the required reinstatement works, these should itemise all the works required and provide the dimensions for both the affected area, and the area of reinstatement.

It is not essential for these to be provided however you will need to ensure the exact cause and origin of the leak has been identified and that this has been repaired. It is advised that you retain a copy of the leak repair invoice for your own records in the event the leak occurs again.
